Louisville Restaurants Forum • View topic - Blue Lagoon Overall, they're doing good work at Blue Lagoon I wouldn't change a thing with the food - just get liquor and improve the beer selection The bar area coupled with the small plate formula lends itself to people stopping in and lingering at the bar over drinks and small plates - this just won't work if liquor isn't an option
Louisville Restaurants Forum • View topic - Fish Fry House now open Sharom's new restaurant, Fish Fry House, is now open at the old Blue Lagoon location For those wondering how it can coexist with Zaytun It looks like a similar menu will be offered as Sharom's Outer Loop location minus the gyros and a couple other items Zaytun's menu remains intact The customers order food at the front of the restaurant

My vote for that price range would easily be Zaytun on Bardstown Road (Mediterranean stuff all in your price range, including excellent giant gyros, nice space, also usually cheap wine deals), or their sister-place next door, Blue Lagoon (a little more upscale digs, tons of affordably priced tapas, very very good) Both are close to Douglass Loop
Coming to Fern Creek: Tandoori Wings, CM Chicken, Bubblevill I don't do well with Indian food (my stomach is not a fan), but I'm happy to see new restaurants open here Takashi opened a few months back behind Moby Dick, and they have excellent sushi at a better price point than Sake Blue There's not been much talk about Kim's Restaurant (Korean Rice Cake) that opened in that cursed spot by St Gabriel
